Filet Mignon with Burgundy Sauce

in bacon wrapped filet mignon, filet mignon marinade

Ingredients:
- 4 filet mignon steaks
- 2 cups burgundy
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil
- ½ cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tsp shallots
- 4 slices bacon
- ½ cup chopped onion
- Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
In a small saucepan, heat the burgundy, olive oil, garlic, shallots, onions, oregano, basil, parsley and teriyaki sauce to a boil and allow it to chill.  Wrap each filet mignon with 1 slice of bacon using a toothpick to hold it in place.  In a shallow bowl, pour the burgundy marinade on all filet mignons and allow them to set for 2-4 hours.  Preheat the grill to medium-high and grill each filet mignon to desired doneness.  Serve with grilled asparagus and twice baked potato.
